Rock Hill Housing Authority

The Rock Hill Housing Authority (RHHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently closed. It was last open for one day on December 3, 2015. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

There were four ways to apply during the opening period: 

1. Pick up a pre-application at the RHHA office from November 16, 2015 until December 1, 2015.
2. Call the RHHA office to request a pre-application be mailed to you.
3. Mail a request to the RHHA office to have a pre-application be mailed to you.
4. Send a request on the online RHHA contact form to have a pre-application be mailed to you.

Once the pre-application was completed, it must have been either:

1. Dropped off at the Cherry Park enclosed shelter on December 3, 2015.
2. Mailed to the RHHA office by December 1, 2015. Pre-applications must have been postmarked by this date, or it was not accepted.

This waiting list has the following preferences: Voucher holders whose assistance was terminated due to insufficient funding, Section 8 Project-Based Voucher holders who have had their voucher for at least one year and request to change to the HCV program, live or work in Rock Hill.

The Housing Authority of the City of Rock Hill (HACRH) Public Housing waiting list is currently closed. Applications were last accepted in April, 2017. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

There were two ways to apply during the opening period:

1. Pick up an application.
2. Request an application through mail.

Once the application was completed, it must have been either hand delivered, or mailed.

This waiting list had the following preferences:

• Resident and working
• Non-resident and working
• Resident and not working

Please note: According to the RHHA, "The Mainstream Voucher Program only provides assistance to individuals and families who have a non-elderly disabled person that will live in the household."

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete the online application.

There were no preferences.

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received.
