The Burke Housing and Redevelopment Commission (BHRC) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list applications for senior/disabled individuals.Please note: The BHRC does not offer Public Housing for families.The BHRC offers one Public Housing community with 23 units for senior/disabled individuals.There are two ways to apply:

  1. Visit the BHRC office to pick up a pre-application, located at 817 Jefferson Street, Burke, SD 57523, during normal office hours.
  2. Request to have a pre-application mailed to you by calling (605) 775-2676 during normal office hours.
Once the pre-application has been completed, it can be mailed or hand delivered to the address listed above.Be sure to include these documents with your application: Birth certificates, Social Security Cards, proof of all income, and photo IDs for all adult household members.No preferences were noted.For more information, call the BHRC office at (605) 775-2676 during normal office hours.
