The Sweetwater Housing Authority (SHA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list applications for families and senior/disabled individuals.The SHA offers one Public Housing community with 157 units for families and senior/disabled individuals.To apply, download the application here, then print and complete.Once the application has been completed, visit the SHA to submit an application in person, located at 3 Valley View Village, Sweetwater, TN 37874, from 8:00 am until 11:00 am EDT, and 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm, on Tuesdays and Thursdays.Be sure to include these documents with your application: Birth certificates, Social Security Cards, proof of all earned and unearned income, bank statements, and if pregnant, proof of pregnancy.No preferences were noted.More information can be found by visiting the SHA website, or by calling (423) 337-6224 during normal office hours.
