The Cameron County Housing Authority (CCHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently open. 50 applications are being accepted every third Wednesday of the month since at least February, 2020, until further notice.
To apply during the opening period, complete the online application every third Wednesday, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm CT.
According to the public notice, "Section 8 Voucher recipients are welcome at Sunrise Villa Apartment at San Benito and Tanglewood Apartment at Laguna Vista."
Preferences have not yet been confirmed.
Selected applicants will be placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received.
