The Denison Housing Authority (DHA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list applications for families and senior/disabled households.
The DHA offers one Public Housing community with 200 units for families and senior/disabled households, ranging in size from 1 to 3 bedrooms.
To apply, visit the DHA office to pick up an application, located at 330 N 8th Ave, Denison, TX 75021, from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm, Monday-Thursday.
Once the application has been completed, it must be hand delivered to the address listed above, from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm, Monday-Thursday. The office does not accept applications the first five days of the month.
Be sure to include these documents with the application: Social Security Cards and birth certificates for all household members, government issued IDs for all adult household members, and proof of all income. A full list of documents that are needed is on the front page of the application.
The DHA does have a preference for: Working families, elderly, and disabled applicants.
