The Housing Authority of the City of Elkins (HACE) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list applications for families and senior/disabled individuals.The HACE offers one Public Housing community with 78 units for families and senior/disabled individuals.To apply, visit the HACE to submit an application in person, located at 1 Stoddard Ave., Elkins, WV 26241, from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Wednesdays.Be sure to bring these documents with you when applying: birth certificates, social security cards, proof of all income, if receiving food stamps, bring print out, if married or divorced you must bring documentation.The HACE does not have a preference. Qualified applicants will be placed by date and time the application is received.For more information, the HACE can be reached by calling (304) 636-6793 during normal office hours.
