The Monroe Housing Authority (MHA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for senior/disabled households, or single/double occupancy.Please note: The MHA does not offer a Public Housing program for families.There are two ways to apply:

  1. Visit the MHA to pick up a pre-application, located at 800 13th Avenue, Monroe, WI 53566, during normal office hours.
  2. Request to have a pre-application mailed to you by calling (608) 325-2949 during normal office hours.
Once the pre-application has been completed, it can be mailed or hand delivered to the address listed above.Please note: According to the MHA, pre-applicants must send a $50 pre-application fee that would be returned after approval.Be sure to include these documents with the pre-application: Social Security Cards, birth certificates, proof of all income, and photo IDs for all adult household members.The MHA does have a preference for senior or disabled individuals.For more information, call the MHA office at (608) 325-2949 during normal office hours.
