The Point Crossing is a new affordable workforce housing project located adjacent to the Regional Transportation District’s (RTD) Nine Mile Station in Aurora, Colorado. The proposed project will be constructed within the 22-acre redevelopment known as The Point at Nine Mile located at the corner of Parker Road and Peoria Street. The Point Crossing consists of sixty-three (63) affordable workforce housing units in a wood-framed four-story elevator served building. The residential units will be housed on all four floors with a roof top deck on the fourth floor offering sweeping western and southern views of the Rocky Mountains and the surrounding project. In addition to housing the leasing office, fitness center, and community lounge, the first floor will also feature tuck under parking for twenty-three of forty-eight provided parking spaces, including electronic vehicle ready spaces. The project is targeting the workforce community and utilizing the income averaging. The Area Median Income (AMI) levels are between 30%-80% allowing more prospective tenants to qualify for the affordable units.
