Bowden Homes

The Macon Housing Authority (MHA) last accepted Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) waiting list applications for 1, 2 and 3-Bedroom apartments at Bowden-Pendleton, Inc. (Bowden Homes and Pendleton Homes) from August 19, 2024, until August 30, 2024. There is no notice when this waiting list will reopen, however it was last open in March 2024 with a 5 month gap between openings.

This waiting list was for the following properties:

• Pendleton Homes - located in Macon, GA.
• Bowden Homes - located in Macon, GA.

There were four ways to apply while the waitlist was open:

1. Print the paper application.
2. Email MHA to request an application.
3. Call the MHA to request an application.
4. Apply in person at Pendleton Homes.

Once the paper application was completed, it was be either:

1. Mailed to the Macon Housing Authority.
2. Emailed to MHA.
3. Dropped off at the MHA drop box.

This waiting list had the following preferences:

• Working families.
• Elderly/Disabled families.
• Homeless families living in a shelter.

It was not known how applicants were placed on the waiting list, by order of preferences.
