Catholic Charities of Oregon is planning 142 new affordable homes in Happy Valley. When complete, it will be the first regulated affordable housing development in Happy Valley, and the largest development to date in Catholic Charities’ housing portfolio. Construction is currently slated to begin in late 2021, pending approval of design and permit applications by the City of Happy Valley.
The development will include housing for families, seniors, and veterans. 58 units will be 30% AMI and 83 units at 60% AMI. There will also be one manager’s unit. The breakdown of unit size is:
