About North Ridge Crossing

A $14 million redesign in 2008 transformed North Ridge Crossing in North Knoxville into a premier property with facade enhancement to increase curb appeal and interior improvements, including new floors, cabinets, upgraded electrical and plumbing systems, energy-efficient appliances and redesigned kitchen layouts. The community features landscaped green spaces with dogwood trees, sidewalks, dedicated parking spaces outside each dwelling and more than 70 street lights. An on-site community center hosts senior activities, as well as a Boys and Girls Club for youth.

Section 8 Project-Based Rental Assistance

Since this property has a Project-Based Section 8 contract with HUD, some or all of the rents at this community are based on tenant incomes. Section 8 Project-Based Rental Assistance tenants will make a monthly contribution toward rent equal to 30% of their adjusted income. There is a minimum tenant contribution of $25 for all rents at this property regardless of tenant income.
