YWCA’s Fifth and Seneca location was Seattle’s first and only facility built “for the benefit of women and girls.” Added to the National Register of Historic Place in 2006, the building was designed by Pacific Northwest architect E.F. Champney who also designed the 1909 Alaska-Yukon-Pacific Expo in Seattle.
YWCA’s Seneca Women’s Residence provides permanent, affordable, and safe housing options, including 126 single room occupancy (SRO) units with shared kitchens and restrooms on each floor.
For adults, it’s a starting place for steady employment and economic success. For seniors, it’s helping our most vulnerable neighbors live with grace and dignity. For children, it’s a secure beginning, a nurturing environment, a foundation for stability and independence.

Applying for housing with bad credit.
Most HUD housing programs, like Section 8 and Public Housing, do not have a credit check. But Section 8 landlords will likely require one for an available unit.Irina Petrova says:
"I recommend for everyone who needs information about Section 8 or Public Housing to use Affordable Housing Online."
