The Grand Rapids Housing Commission (GRHC) is currently accepting Housing for 62+ waiting list applications until further notice. Waiting lists for a specific community or bedroom size may be closed.
To apply, complete the online application. Select an open waiting list in the "Housing for Ages 62 and older" section.
This waiting list has the following preferences: Displaced by government action, fire, lead paint, natural disaster, or similar circumstance; Live in city limits of Grand Rapids; Requesting barrier free unit; Veteran or widow of veteran with honorable discharge.

Housing for 62+ has preferences for: Displaced by Natural Disaster, Veterans, Displaced by Government Action. Preferences are not required but Project-Based applicants that meet these criteria will be moved up the waiting list.
