The Lansing Housing Commission (LHC) last accepted Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) waiting list applications for Efficiencies and 1-Bedroom apartments for Capital City Apartments from November 13, 2023, until 200 applications were received. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

There were two ways to apply while the waitlist was open:

  1. Pick up an application in person at Capital City Apartments.
  2. Pick up an application in person at Lansing Housing Commission Main Office.

Once the paper application was completed, it was either:

  1. Hand delivered to Capital City Apartments.
  2. Hand delivered to Lansing Housing Commission Main Office.

This waiting list had the following preferences:

  • Elderly and Disabled

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by date and time the application was received, weighed by order of preferences.
