The Michigan City Housing Authority (MCHA) Home Ownership, MCHDI, and Business Activity waiting lists are currently open, from June 1, 2017 at 9:00 am CT, until 150 applications are received for each program.

This waiting list has the following preference: Michigan City resident.
Selected applicants will be placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received and bedroom size, by order of preferences.
A notice will be sent to applicants within 60 days of applying with their waiting list number and estimated wait time.

Home Ownership, MCHDI, and Business Activity has preferences for: Live, Work, or Attend School Locally. Preferences are not required but Project-Based applicants that meet these criteria will be moved up the waiting list.
