This waiting list is for Section 8 Project-Based Voucher rental housing assistance in Nassau County , New York.
The Nassau County Office of Housing (NCOH) waiting list for Section 8 Project Based Voucher apartments is currently closed. Applications were last accepted from June 21, 2021 until July 2, 2021. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.
To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete the online application.

2,500 applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery, weighed by order of preferences.
The NCOH public notice states that it "will randomly select 2,500 households for placement on the waitlist." This notice was for both the Housing Choice Voucher and Project-Based Voucher programs. It is not known how many people were placed on each waiting list.
