The Portland Housing Authority (PHA) Moderate Rehabilitation waiting list is currently open, since at least May, 2019, until further notice. Waiting lists for a specific community or bedroom size may be closed.
There are three ways to apply:

Moderate Rehabilitation has preferences for: Preferences Unconfirmed. Preferences are not required but Project-Based applicants that meet these criteria will be moved up the waiting list.
Moderate Rehabilitation Project-Based Waiting List is managed by Portland Housing Authority.
Portland Housing Authority provides affordable housing for up to 2,981 low- and moderate-income households through its Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher and public housing programs.
This housing agency serves Cape Elizabeth, Cumberland, Falmouth, Freeport, Gorham, Gray, North Yarmouth, Old Orchard Beach, Portland, Scarborough, Westbrook, Windham, Yarmouth, Maine.
Do not pay for HUD applications.
It is against the law to charge for Section 8, Public Housing, and other HUD housing applications.Diane Johnson says:
