This waiting list is for Other Project Based rental housing assistance in Stamford, Connecticut.

The Charter Oak Communities (COC) waiting list for 1, 2 and 3-Bedroom apartments at Fairfield Commons is currently closed. Applications were last accepted on an unconfirmed date in 2021. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to print the paper application.

The maximum income limits for each household size were as follows:

  • 1 Person $61,650 | 4 Persons $88,050
  • 2 Persons $70,450 | 5 Persons $95,100
  • 3 Persons $79,250 | 6 Persons $102,150

This waiting list had the following preferences:

  • Terminated from Charter Oak Communities housing choice voucher program due to insufficient program funding.
  • Displaced or scheduled for displacement due to Charter Oak Communities redevelopment efforts.
  • Victims of domestic violence.
  • Displaced due to state/local government action for reasons beyond the resident control and/or natural disasters.
  • Chronic homelessness preference ( Families must be referred to COC by a homeless service provider).

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received.
