This waiting list is for Other Project Based rental housing assistance in Stamford, Connecticut.

The Charter Oak Communities (COC) waiting list for 1, 2, 3 and 4-Bedroom apartments at Oak Park is currently closed. Applications were last accepted on an unconfirmed date in 2021. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to print the paper application.

The maximum income limits for each household size were as follows:

    • Living in shelter or transitional housing (25 points)
    • Living in temporary housing with others because of conditions
      • Beyond applicants control (condemnation, fire, foreclosure, loss of job, etc.) (20 points)
    • Living in overcrowded condition in own housing unit
      • (example 1.5 person per room) (15 points)
  • Income/Rent ratio
    • Currently paying more than 50% of income for rent/housing (15 points)
    • Currently paying between 31-50% of income for rent/housing (10 points)
    • Standard applicants (0 points)

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received, weighed by order of preferences.
