This waiting list is for Other Project Based rental housing assistance in Stamford, Connecticut.

The Charter Oak Communities (COC) Near Elderly waiting list for Studio and 1-Bedroom apartments at Summer Place is currently open. Applications are being accepted since at least May, 2021, until further notice.

The maximum income limits for each household size are available here.

This waiting list has the following preferences:

  • Family that has been terminated from Charter Oak Communities HGCV program due to insufficient program funding.
  • Displaced or scheduled for displacement due to Charter Oak Communities Redevelopment efforts.
  • Victims if domestic violence.
  • Displaced due to other state/local government actions for reasons beyond resident control and/or declared natural disasters.
  • Chronic homelessness.

Selected applicants will be placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received, weighed by order of preferences.

Summer Place Project-Based Applicant Preferences

Summer Place has preferences for: Displaced by Natural Disaster, Victims of Domestic Violence, Displaced by Government Action, Terminated from Assistance Due to Lack of Funding, Chronic Homeless. Preferences are not required but Project-Based applicants that meet these criteria will be moved up the waiting list.
