The Guthrie Housing Authority (GHA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list applications.

There are two ways to apply:

  1. Visit the GHA office to pick up a pre-application, located at 1524 E Perkins Ave., Guthrie, OK 73044, from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm CT, Monday-Friday.
  2. Download and print the application online.

Once the application has been completed, it must be hand delivered to the address above from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm, Monday-Friday.

Be sure to include these documents with the pre-application: Social Security Cards and birth certificates for all household members, photo IDs for all adult household members, proof of all income, a list of current and previous landlords for the past three years, three character references, and two personal references. The additional documentation is required if applicable: Employer name and address, school financial aid award letter and/or loan letter and class schedule, Department of Human Services case number, a print out of unemployment benefits, Zero, low or undocumented income checklist, Social Security benefits, bank accounts, interest/annuities, stocks, rental income, property income, child support/alimony, medical allowance, disability allowance, and proof pregnancy from the doctor.

This waiting list has the following preferences: Elderly and disabled individuals, families with children, or displaced by a natural disaster.
