The Low Rent Housing Agency of Missouri Valley (LRHAMV) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households. Please note: The LRHAMV only offers one bedroom units, and has a maximum occupancy of two people. The offers one Public Housing community with 52 units for families and senior/disabled households. There are two ways to apply:  

  1. Visit the LRHAMV to pick up a pre-application, located at 505 E Huron St., Missouri Valley, IA 51555, during normal office hours.
  2. Request to have a pre-application mailed to you by calling (712) 642-2458 during normal office hours.
Once the pre-application has been completed, it can be mailed or hand delivered to the address listed above. Be sure to include these documents with the pre-application: Birth Certificates, Social Security Cards, and photo IDs for all adult household members. The LRHAMV does not have a preference. Qualified applicants will be placed by the date and time the pre-application is received. For more information, the LRHAMV can be reached by calling (712) 642-2458 during normal office hours.
