The Mount Ida Housing Authority (MIHA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households.The MIHA offers one Public Housing community with 24 units for families and senior/disabled households, ranging in size from 1 to 3 bedrooms.Please note: This waiting list has preferences. This means that applicants who qualify for these preferences will receive assistance before applicants who do not. Because of there preferences, it is likely applicants who do qualify will have a long wait to receive assistance, or will not receive assistance from this office.To apply, visit the MIHA office to pick up a pre-application, located at 19 Graham St., Mt Ida, AR 71957, from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm CT, on Fridays.Once the pre-application has been completed, it must be hand delivered to the address listed above, from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm, on Fridays.Be sure to include these documents with the pre-application: Social Security Cards and birth certificates for all household members, proof of all income, and photo IDs for all adult household members.The MIHA does have a preference for; Elderly, disabled, and working families.Please note: This waiting list has preferences.
