The Seneca Housing Authority (SHA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled individuals.Please note: The SHA does accept families that have up to four people in the household.The SHA offers one Public Housing community with 71 units for families and senior/disabled individuals, ranging in size from studio's to two bedrooms.There are two ways to apply:

  1. Visit the SHA to pick up a pre-application, located at 504 Edward Street, Seneca, KS  66538, during normal office hours.
  2. Request to have a pre-applciation mailed to you by calling 785-336-2144 during  normal office hours.
Once the pre-application has been completed, it must be hand delivered to the address listed above during normal office hours.Be sure to include these documents with the pre-application: Social Security Cards, government issued photo IDs for all adult household members, birth certificates, proof of all income, and three months of bank statements.The SHA does not have a preference.Qualified applicants will be placed by the date and time the pre-application is received.For more information, visit the SHA website, or call the office at (785) 336-2144 during normal office hours.
