This waiting list is for Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher rental housing assistance in Dearborn, Franklin, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland, and Union County, Indiana.
The Southeastern Indiana Economic Opportunity Corporation (SIEOC) is accepting Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from March 4, 2024 at 8:00 am ET, until further notice. This is the first time the waiting list has been open since it closed in November, 2022.
To apply while the waiting list is open, complete the online application.
This waiting list has the following preferences:
Selected applicants will be placed on the waiting list by the date and time the application is received, weighed by order of preferences.

Dearborn, Franklin, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland, and Union County, Indiana has preferences for: Elderly, Live, Work, or Attend School Locally, Working/Employed, Disabled, Living in Or at Risk of Institutionalization, Non-Elderly Disabled. Preferences are not required but Section 8 Voucher applicants that meet these criteria will be moved up the waiting list.
