OPEN: Miami Housing Authority is currently open and does not have a predetermined closing date.

The Miami Housing Authority (MHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently open until further notice.Miami, OK is about 90 miles northeast of Tulsa, OK.There are two ways to apply:

1. Visit the MHA office to pick up a pre-application, located at 205 B Street NE, Miami, Oklahoma 74354, from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm CT, Monday-Friday.
2. Request to have a pre-application mailed to you by calling (918) 542-6691 from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm, Monday-Friday.

Once the pre-application has been completed, it must be hand delivered to the address listed above, from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm, Monday-Friday.Be sure to include these documents with the pre-application: Social Security Cards and birth certificates for all household members, photo IDs for all adult household members, and proof of all income.The MHA does not have a preference.Applicants will receive a confirmation number upon submitting the pre-application. It is important to keep that number in a safe, easy to access place.
