Another week brings another major update to help renters save time on their housing search!
Similar to our recent update for Section 8 Waiting Lists, our Low Income Apartment Waiting Lists page got a redesign as well!
Renters who are looking for the latest openings will still find the newly announced apartment waiting lists at the top of the page.
The biggest change to this page is our list of apartment waiting list openings by state. Now, renters can select the "View All" link to display every open waiting list for apartments in that state.
See the changes for yourself, and find open waiting lists near you!
Wait until you have a Section 8 voucher to find housing.
It usually takes months or years to reach the top of a Section 8 HCV waiting list. Any apartments you see now will likely not be available when you get your voucher.Francine Harris says:
