The Syracuse Housing Authority (SHA) will accept Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from March 25, 2024 at 7:00 am, until March 31, 2024 at 11:00 pm ET. This is the first time the waiting list has been open since it closed in March, 2020.
The Brazos Valley Council of Governments (BVCOG) is accepting Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from March 11, 2024 at 9:00 am, until May 31, 2024 at 4:00 pm CT. This is the first time the waiting list has been open since it closed in December, 2022.
The Atlantic City Housing Authority (ACHA) will accept Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from March 16, 2024, until March 20, 2024 or until 500 applications have been received. This is the first time the waiting list has been open since it closed in November, 2020.
The Wausau Community Development Authority (WCDA) will accept Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from March 25, 2024 at 8:00 am, until April 12, 2024 at 3:00 pm CT. This is the first time the waiting list has been open since it closed in August, 2022.
Announced during New York City's State of the City address by NYC Mayor Eric Adams, the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) Section 8 Housing Voucher Waiting List will open on a date to be announced in 2024. NYCHA last accepted Section 8 HCV applications in December, 2009.
The Norfolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority (NRHA) accepted Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from March 11, 2024 at 9:00 am, until March 18, 2024 at 4:00 pm ET. This is the first time the waiting list has been open since it closed in March, 2021.
The Brunswick County Public Housing Agency (BCPHA) accepted Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from March 11, 2024, until March 25, 2024.
The Wilson Housing Authority (WHA) accepted Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from March 11, 2024 at 7:00 am, until March 26, 2024 at 4:00 pm ET. This is the first time the waiting list has been open since it closed in February, 2021.
The Housing Authority of the City of Evansville (EHA) accepted Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from March 26, 2024, until March 28, 2024. This is the first time the waiting list has been open since it closed in April, 2018.
The Tampa Housing Authority (THA) accepted Mainstream Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from March 4, 2024 at 8:00 am, until March 29, 2024 at 5:00 pm ET.
The Housing Authority of the City of Fort Lauderdale (HACFL) accepted Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from March 25, 2024 at 9:00 am, until March 29, 2024 at 5:00 pm ET. This is the first time the waiting list has been open since it closed in March, 2021.
The Housing Authority of the City of Winston-Salem (HACWS) accepted Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list from April 2, 2024 at 9:00 am until April 4, 2024 at 5:00 pm ET. This is the first time the waiting list will be open since December, 2021.
The Kinston Housing Authority (KHA) accepted Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from March 20, 2024 until April 5, 2024. This is the first time the waiting list has been open since it closed in April, 2023.
The South Carolina Regional Housing Authority No. 1 (SCRHA) accepts Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications for Laurens County from April 15, 2024, until April 30. 2024. This is the first time the waiting list will be open since September, 2017.
The Glens Falls Housing Authority (GFHA) is accepting Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from March 4, 2024 at 9:00 am, until March 8, 2024 at 3:30 pm ET. This is the first time the waiting list has been open since it closed in September, 2020.
The Santa Fe Civic Housing Authority (SFCHA) accepts Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications twice a month on Wednesdays from January 10, 2024 at 10:00 am, until December 4, 2024 at 4:00 pm MT.
The Chautauqua Opportunities Inc (COI) is accepting Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications for Chautauqua County from December 20, 2023, until December 27, 2024.
Columbia Housing (CH) accepted Moderate Rehabilitation (Mod-Rehab) waiting list applications for 2-Bedroom apartments at Four Seasons Apartments for one day only on March 14, 2024 from 8:00 am, until 5:00 pm ET. This is the first time the waiting list has been open since it closed in June, 2020.
The Laredo Housing Authority (LHA) accepted Public Housing waiting list applications on a limited basis for one day on March 19, 2024 from 9:00 am, until 10:00 am CT.
The Danville Redevelopment and Housing Authority (DRHA) is accepting Public Housing waiting list applications for Cardinal Village, Cedar Terrace, Ingram Heights, and Pleasant View Apartments from March 11, 2024 at 8:00 am, until April 11, 2024 at 5:00 pm ET.
The McAllen Housing Authority (MHA) accepted Public Housing waiting list applications on April 11, 2024 at 8:00 am CT, until 100 applications have been received. This is the first time the waiting list has been open since it closed in April, 2019.
The Vineland Housing Authority (VHA) is accepting Family Public Housing and Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) waiting list applications for 5 and 6-bedroom units, and Senior and Disabled Public Housing and Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) waiting list applications for 0 and 1-bedroom units from March 1, 2024 at 12:00 am, until April 15, 2024 at 11:59 pm ET.
The McDonough Housing Authority (MHA) is accepting Public Housing waiting list applications for 1, 2, 3 and 4-Bedroom apartments on Wednesdays only from March 13, 2024 at 9:00 am, until April 3, 2024 at 12:00 pm ET. This is the first time the waiting list has been open since it closed in August, 2020.
Affordable housing is for both families and individuals.
