Every week, Affordable Housing Online announces the latest Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list openings for renters in search of low-income housing assistance in the U.S.
Many waiting lists have different requirements on how to apply. And sometimes, it can be hard to find all the important details. AHO gathers all of this information to save renters time in their housing search.
There are four (4) new Section 8 waiting list openings announced this week by AHO! The waitlists this week are in four different states, and one area also has an opening for affordable apartments.

Note: Applicants do not need to live in the area to apply to most waiting lists. Once a waiting list closes, it may stay closed for many years.

Tacoma, Washington Section 8 Waitlist Opens Soon
The Tacoma Housing Authority will accept Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher and THA-Owned Properties waiting list applications from April 3, until April 17, 2023.

The Lexington Housing Authority will accept Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from April 24, until April 28, 2023.

Harrisburg, Pennsylvania Section 8 Waitlist Opens Soon
The Harrisburg Housing Authority will accept Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from March 29, until March 30, 2023 at 3:00 pm ET.
