As of July 2017, the Washington County Housing Authority (WCHA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households.
To apply, visit the WCHA office to pick up a pre-application, located at 84 Plemmons Cir, Chatom, AL 36518, from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm, on Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays.
Once the pre-application has been completed, it must be hand delivered to the address listed above, from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm, on Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays.
No documents are needed at this time.
The WCHA does not have a preference.
Qualified applicants will be placed on the waiting list by the date and time the pre-application is received.
