The Lee County Housing Authority (LCHA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households.Please note: According to the LCHA, "The public housing wait list is closed unless you met on of the following preferences.1. Federally Declared Disaster2. Local Government Displaced3. Veteran w/ DD214 (honorably discharge)"To apply, visit the LCHA office to complete a pre-application, located at 14170 Warner Circle, Fort Myers, FL 33903, from 8:30 am until 11:00 am ET on Tuesdays and Thursdays only.The following documentation is required: Social Security Card, and photo ID.The LCHA has identified that there are preferences, and they can be viewed in the office's written policy manual.
