Please note: The West Georgia Consortium manages the Public Housing waiting list for the Housing Authority of the City of Cuthbert, Housing Authority of the City of Shellman, Housing Authority of the City of Fort Gaines, Housing Authority of the City of Arlington, and Housing Authority of the City of Edison.The West Georgia Consortium (WGC) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list applications for families and senior/disabled individuals.The WGC offers five communities with 234 units that are scattered throughout the five areas for families and senior/disabled individuals.There are two ways to apply:

  1. Visit the WGC to pick up an application, located at 968 Blakely St., Cuthbert, GA 39840, from 7:30 am until 4:30 pm EDT, Monday-Thursday.
  2. Request to have an application mailed to you by calling (229) 732-2128 from 7:30 am until 4:30 pm, Monday-Thursday.
Once the application has been completed, it must be hand delivered to the address listed above from 7:30 am until 4:30 pm, Monday-Thursday.Be sure to include these documents with your application: birth certificates, Social Security Cards, proof of all income, and photo IDs for all adult household members.The WGC does not have a preference. Qualified applicants will be placed by the date and time their application is received.For more information, the WGC can be reached by calling (229) 732-2128 from 7:30 am until 4:30 pm, Monday-Thursday.
