The Housing Authority for LaSalle County (HALC) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently open until further notice.
Please note: Applicants who were not placed on the waiting list must re-apply each year.
To apply, pick up an application at one the following offices, from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm; and 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm CT:
This waiting list has the following preferences: Terminated from HCV program due to insufficient funding, displaced from Public Housing unit by HALC, resident of LaSalle County, displaced by natural disaster.
Selected applicants will be placed on the waiting list by random lottery, by order of preferences.
