How To Apply to the Public Housing Waiting List
The Housing Authority of the City of Danville (HACD) Public Housing waiting list is currently open, since at least April, 2019, until further notice.
There are two ways to apply:
- Download and print the application online here. Select the "Download File" link under the "Public Housing Application" header.
- Pick up an application at the HACD office, located at 1607 Clyman Lane, Danville, IL 61832, from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm; and 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm CT.
Once the application has been completed, it must be mailed or dropped off to:

How To Apply to the Housing Choice Voucher Waiting List
The Housing Authority of the City of Danville (HACD) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently closed. It was last open for one day in May, 2019; and before that in March, 2016. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.
To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete the application at one three locations.
This waiting list had the following preferences: Live, Work, Locally, Disabled, Working/Employed, Veterans.
It is not known how applicants were placed on the waiting list, after sorting preferences.
