The Shenandoah Low Rent Housing Agency (SLRHA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for senior/disabled households.Please note: The SLRHA does not offer a Public Housing program for families.The SLRHA offers one Public Housing community with 78 units for senior/disabled households.To apply, visit the SLRHA to pick up a pre-application, located at 707 W Summit Ave., Shenandoah, IA 51601, during normal office hours.Once the pre-application has been completed, it must be hand delivered to the address listed above during normal office hours.Be sure to include these documents with the pre-application: Birth certificate, Social Security Cards, photo ID, and proof of income .The SLRHA does have a preference for: Senior and disabled individuals.For more information, the SLRHA can be reached by calling (712) 246-3213 during normal office hours.
