The Housing Authority of Hazard (HAH) is currently accepting Public Housing community for families and senior/disabled households.The HAH offers two Public Housing communities with 273 units for families and senior/disabled households, ranging in size from 1 to 5 bedrooms.To apply, visit the HAH to pick up a pre-application, located at 100 Campbell St, Hazard, KY 41701, from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm, Monday-Thursday, and on Fridays from 8:00 am until 3:00 pm.Once the pre-application has been completed, you must call the HAH at (606) 436-5741 to schedule an appointment to hand in the pre-application.Be sure to bring these documents with you to the appointment: Social Security Cards and birth certificates for all household members, proof of all income, and photo IDs for all adult household members.No preferences were noted.For more information, call the HAH office at (606) 436-5741, from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm, Monday-Thursday, and on Fridays from 8:00 am until 3:00 pm.
