The Housing Authority of Murray (HAM) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households.The HAM offers one Public Housing community with 205 units for families and senior/disabled households, ranging in size from studios to 4 bedrooms.There are two ways to apply:1. Visit the HAM office to pick up a pre-application, located at 716 Nash Drive, Murray, KY 42071 during normal office hours.2. Download a pre-application here, then print and complete.Once the pre-application has been completed, you must call the HAM office at (270) 753-5000 to schedule an appointment to hand in the pre-application.Be sure to include these documents with the pre-application: Social Security Cards and birth certificates for all household members, photo IDs for all adult household members, proof of all income, bank account statements, completed criminal background check, verification for any childcare, if elderly/disabled you must supply any medical expenses, certification of pregnancy if applicable, and verification of continued education if applicable.The HAM does not have a preference.Qualified applicants will be placed by the date and time the pre-application is received.For more information, visit the HAM website, or call the office at (270) 753-5000 during normal office hours.
