The Housing Authority of Richmond (HAR) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households.The HAR offers four Public Housing communities with 277 units for families and senior/disabled households, ranging in size from studios to 5 bedrooms.To apply, visit the HAR office to pick up a pre-application, located at 502 Ellis Ct., Richmond, KY 40475 during normal office hours.Once the pre-application has been completed, you must call the HAR at (859) 623-5968 to schedule an appointment to hand in the pre-application.Be sure to include these documents with the pre-application: Social Security Cards and birth certificates for all household members, proof of all income, photo IDs for all adult household members, food stamps award letter (if applicable).The HAR does have a preference point system and they will go over them during the appointment.For more information, call the HAR office at (859) 623-5968 during normal office hours.
