How To Apply to the Housing Choice Voucher Waiting List
The Housing Authority of Oakdale (HAO) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently open until further notice.
To apply, visit the the HAO to submit a pre-application in person, located at 801 E 7th Ave., Oakdale, LA 71463, from 8:30 am until 3:00 pm CT, Monday-Friday.
Be sure to bring these documents with you when applying: Social Security Cards and birth certificates for all household members, proof of all income, and photo IDs for all adult household members. All adult household members must be present when applying.
The HAO does not have a preference.
Qualified applicants will be placed by the date and time the pre-application is received.
