The Manistee Housing Commission (MHC) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applciations for families and senior/disabled individuals.

The MHC offers three Public Housing communities with 204 units for families and senior/disabled individuals.

There are two ways to apply:
1. Visit the MHC to pick up a pre-application, located at 273 Sixth Avenue, Manistee, MI 49660 during normal office hours.
2. Download the pre-application here, then print and complete.

Once the application has been completed, it can be:
1. Mailed or hand delivered to the address listed above.
2. Emailed to lperski@manisteehousing.com.
3. Faxed to 231-723-8900.

No documents are needed at this time.

The MHC does have a preference for: Employed, live and/or work in Manistee, or veteran.

Reasonable Accommodation
