The Elmira Housing Authority is currently accepting public housing applications for families and senior disabled individuals.Please Note: This housing authority has open apartments, and no waiting list.This housing authority offers three apartment communities for public housing:1. George Bragg Towers is a 126 unit community with one bedroom units, dedicated to senior/disabled individuals.2. Flannery Apartments is a 208 unit community with one bedrooms, dedicated to senior/disabled individuals.3. Hoffman Plaza is a 144 unit family community, ranging from 1-3 bedrooms.To apply for public housing you can complete the online pre-application here, or stop by the housing authority to pick up an application during normal office hours, located at 737 D Reservoir St., Elmira, NY 14905.Once the application has been completed, you must call the housing authority to set up an interview to finish the application process at 607-737-7102, during normal office hours.
