The Pender County Housing Authority (PCHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently closed. It was last open from August 2016, until September 2016. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to download and print the pre-application online.Once the pre-application has been completed, it must have been mailed or hand delivered to the PCHA office by September 23, 2016 at 5:00 pm. Pre-applications must have been received before that date, or it was not accepted.This waiting list has no preferences.300 applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery. The lottery drawing will be held in the Board of County Commissioner's chambers, located at 805 S Walker St, Burgaw, NC 28425, on September 28, 2016 at 9:00 am.Important note: Applicants who have been placed on the waiting list must inform the housing authority immediately if your application information changes (such as contact information, income, and household members). In the case that the office sends a notice that does not get returned, or if application information is out of date, your name may be terminated from the waiting list.
