Open Until Further Notice: Greene County Housing Authority Public Housing Waiting List

The Greene County Housing Authority (GCHA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households.The GCHA offers two public housing communities with 284 units for families and senior disabled households.There are two ways to apply:

  1. Visit the GCHA office to pick up a pre-application, located at 170 East Greene St., Waynesburg, PA 15370, during normal office hours.
  2. Out of county applicants can request an application be mailed to you by calling (724) 627-6523 during normal office hours.
Once the application has been completed, it must be hand delivered to the address listed above. The following documentation is required: Birth certificates, Social Security Cards, and photo IDs for all adult household members.The GCHA has identified the following preferences: Elderly, disabled, working, veteran, displaced by a disaster, or a parent about to lose their child through court system.For more information, call the GCHA office at (724) 627-6523.
