The Morristown Housing Authority (MHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently open until further notice.

Once the application has been submitted, applicants have five business days to visit the MHA office, located at 600 Sulphur Springs Rd., Morristown, TN 37813, to sign forms and bring the following documents: Social Security Card and birth certificates of all household members, drivers license or photo ID of all adult household members, final divorce decree (if applicable), proof of income/support, assets, medical verification of pregnancy (if applicable), proof of child custody (if applicable), previous government housing name and address (if applicable), rental/resident history and landlord information of the last two years.
Important note: Applicants who have been placed on the waiting list must inform the housing authority immediately if your application information changes (such as contact information, income, and household members). In the case that the office sends a notice that does not get returned, or if application information is out of date, your name may be terminated from the waiting list.
