Open: Park Central Apartments, 3-Bedroom Section 8 Project-Based Voucher

The Port Arthur Housing Authority (PAHA) is accepting Section 8 Project Based Voucher waiting list applications for 3-Bedroom apartments at Park Central Apartments from the earliest confirmed open date of August 31, 2023, until further notice.

To apply while the waitlist is open, complete the online application in person at the Park Central Apartments management office, located at 8580 Park Central Dr, Port Arthur, TX 77642.

Preferences have not yet been confirmed.

It is not known how applicants will be placed on the waiting list, by order of preferences.

The Port Arthur Housing Authority (PAHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is closed.

The PAHA last accepted applications for this waiting list for one day on July 26, 2022, until 2,000 applications were received. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete the online application.

This waiting list had the following preferences:

  • Homeless – Must be able to provide documentation from social service agency assisting with nightly accommodations (if you are staying with family or friend, you are not considered homeless).
  • Working or unable to work due to age or disability (Head or Spouse) – Must be able to provide check stubs or provide Social Security award letter.

It was not known how applicants will be placed on the waiting list.
