The Housing Authority of Asotin County (HAAC) is currently accepting Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications.There are two ways to apply for the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher program:1. Visit the housing authority to pick up an application, located at 1212 Fair St, Clarkston, WA 99403, Monday-Thursday between the hours of 6:00 am and 4:30 pm.2. Request an application be mailed to you by calling 509-758-5751, Monday-Thursday between the hours of 6:00 am and 4:30 pm.Once the application has been completed it can be mailed or hand delivered to the address listed above. No documents are needed at this time.Please note: The HAAC does have a preference point system that may improve your spot on the waiting list: homeless rent burden, living in substandard living conditions, elderly, or disabled.This information was confirmed on the phone by a HAAC representative.
