North East Jefferson Villa/Bradford

The Jefferson County Housing Authority (JCHA) Warrior Public Housing waiting list for apartments at Dixie Manor, Faucett Homes, Northeast Jefferson Villa, Chelsea Gardens, and Warrior Courts is currently closed. Applications are being accepted from March 26, 2020, until an unconfirmed close date.

There are two ways to apply during the opening period:

1. Pick up an application at the JCHA Warrior Office.
2. Download and print the application online.

Once the paper application was completed, applicants were required to call the JCHA to make an appointment to bring the application back for processing.

This waiting list had the following preferences:

• Catastrophic involuntary displacement
• Adult household member is enrolled in an employment training program, or head of household is currently working 30 hours per week or more
• Elderly under the definition verified by the Social Security Administration
• Disabled under the definition verified by the Social Security Administration
• These preferences apply only to specific units:
  • Near-elderly families over other families for units designed for elderly/disabled (this preference only applies to designated properties)
  • For one bedroom/efficiency units; elderly, disabled families and displaced persons over single persons.

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received and the number on the completed application, weighed  by order of preferences.
