TELACU Buena Vista is a 74-unit senior, low-income apartment community located just a few blocks away from the 10 and 215 freeways in the city of San Bernardino and within walking distance to shops, restaurants, a medical center, medical clinics and public transportation. They have on-site laundry facilities, a community garden, professionally landscaped grounds, gated parking and a large community room for their residents’ enjoyment. Each apartment includes air conditioning/heating and a full kitchen with a stove and refrigerator as well as grab bars in the bathrooms for their residents’ convenience.

Because TELACU Buena Vista participates in HUD's HOME program for rental housing, at least some of the units in this property are set aside for households at or below 60% of the AMI and rents are capped at the local FMR and in many cases much lower. For a project of this size, some of the units are set aside for households at or below 50% AMI with a corresponding lower rent cap. As this property appears not to have a project-based subsidy or any other Federal assistance, you likely will have to pay your own rent, albeit, at a lower rent amount thanks to the HOME program. Since this property participates in the HOME program, the property is required to accept Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers.
