Access Senior Housing of Willington – Willington Woods – is an Access sponsored & managed property of 32 units of senior housing through a collaboration between the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD), the Town of Willington, and Access Agency.
The 32 one-bedroom apartments and many common rooms that residents have adapted for their leisure activities include a resident art studio, puzzle room, library, and quiet sitting area. Willington Woods features a community room equipped with a full kitchen and flat screen television as well as a large patio area for residents to have outdoor barbecues and enjoy the beautiful gardens planted since its opening.
Willington Woods is subsidized by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). To apply, applicants must complete an application and meet certain age and income requirements established by HUD. In general, applicants must be age 62 or older at time of placement and be considered “very low income”. Click here for maximum qualifying income amounts.
