The Pine Ridge Manor family housing site is the largest of the THA housing sites with 211 units. It is a neighborhood of small, brick duplexes located on a bluff overlooking Interstate 70.
This campus has many mature trees, lots of green space, and streets that wind through the neighborhood.
Marshall Square has 26 apartments. It consists of 24 one-bedroom units and 2 two-bedroom units. The property was purchased and modified using HUD "Replacement Housing" funds set aside when the Northland site was demolished in 1995. This apartment site is located one block east of 7th & Gage Blvd.
Since this property is owned and managed by a Public Housing Authority, all of the rents at this property are based on tenant incomes. Tenants will make a monthly contribution toward rent equal to 30% of their adjusted income. A housing authority may establish a minimum rent of up to $50.
Generally, households earning up to the income limit in the table below for their household size are eligible for units participating in a HUD rental assistance program in Topeka but actual income limits may differ for units at Pine Ridge Manor / Marshall Square.
